This is a quick post/reminder.
If you’re ever doing a live monitoring of traffic for a server on your network on a Cisco ASA and you just see zero traffic where there should be some, check that the server or VM that you’re monitoring doesnt have 2 NICs. This has come up a couple of times and it can be a real head scratcher until you realize the server/VM is bridging the networks.
